In light of difficulty that life brings, you may not always feel like an overcomer. But if you have a relationship with God, through Jesus, the writer of 1 John says you are an overcomer. An overcomer’s heart is drawn to love the One who enables him/her to overcome. Love is demonstrated by obedience to the commands, which are not a burden. This truth can all be found in the first five verses of 1 John 5.
