What is the Culture Like at Kingwood?
Sunday’s at Kingwood are personable, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to be welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
Your children are very important to us. We have programs in place to care for them.
Nursery
Parents are free to drop off their newborn-age 2 children in our nursery. Two screened volunteers are available to love and care for your child while you enjoy the service. The nursery is also equipped with a changing table, a toddler toilet seat, and a place to nurse if needed.
Kid’s Church
Kid’s Celebration (age 3-grade2)
We have children’s church (Kid’s Celebration) for kids ages 3-2nd grade available during the morning message time. Your children will learn relevant Bible truths and focus on what God is currently doing around the world from experienced volunteers. A snack will be provided. At the conclusion of Kids Celebration, children may be picked up by their parents or continue with their teacher to attend King’s Kids Sunday School.
What Activities Do You Have for Middle and High School Students?
Our middle school and high school students meet Sunday morning from 11am-noon, following the church service. They enjoy interactions with one another over a game of pool, ping pong, or foosball, followed by teaching from the Word of God. Small groups are also incorporated on a monthly basis during this time, allowing our teens to wrestle together in knowing how to apply Biblical truth to their everyday life.
We offer monthly activities designed to help foster a sense of community the group.

Location
We are located in the Edgewater District of West Salem. The church building is between Elm Street and Ruge Street. There is a parking lot on the north side of the church off of Ruge Street. Street parking is also available on Elm Street. Feel free to enter the building from either side of the church.
