Pancake Breakfast and Classic Car Show – Family Fun

Easter Celebration

Join us for our celebration Jesus resurrection. We start at 9:30 am, our usual start time, in the gym for Easter breakfast. in addition to breakfast, the kids will decorate the cross with flowers and we’ll proceed to the church auditorium for worship at 10:45 to 12:00 noon. Bring flowers from your garden for the kids to use for the cross. Invite a friend and join us.  This is a day of joyous celebration.

Vacation Bible School (2016 VBS)

Kids 4 years old to 5th Grade are invited to our annual Vacation Bible School.   This fun program is open to any family in the community.

This year’s theme is “Submerged”.  At “Submerged VBS”, kids embark on the coolest adventure of the summer! Filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences, fun craft activities, team-building games, cool songs, and tasty treats. We’ll help kids discover how to see
evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings.

There will be a closing program for parents to attend at 8 PM on Thursday night the 30th.

Trunk or Treat

Do you love seeing kids’ faces light up when they get free candy? Have you ever wanted an excuse to cover your car in seasonal decorations? Do you want to hand out cups of steaming hot cocoa to the dedicated parents of neighborhood trick-or-treaters?

If you said yes to any of these, then come on out to the Kingwood parking lot on October 31st from 6:00pm-7:30 for our Trunk-or-Treat event! Providing a safe and fun time for the kids and families of our community, it’ll be a blast for everyone involved!

Kingwood Thanksgiving Dinner

Join us for Thanksgiving dinner immediately following the Sunday School hour (12:00 noon)

Main courses provided and drinks provided

Bring a salad and a dessert

Offering will be taken at tables for Union Gospel Mission of Salem.

Kingwood Christmas Program

Annual Christmas program at Kingwood–family style–music, stories, drama

Followed by refreshments in gym

Girls’ Night Out–Movie Night

FROM THE WOMENS MINISTRIES TEAM: Ladies ~ It’s Showtime! Come enjoy Girls Night Out ~ at the KBC Fireside Room ~ featuring “Belle” inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, the mixed race daughter of a British Royal Navy Admiral in the 1700’s.  Showtime: Friday January 23 @ 6:00.  Feel free to bring something comfy to sit on and bring a friend to share in the fun with pizza, popcorn, drinks and chocolate!  Pajamas & sleeping bags are always welcome and donations for food will be accepted at the door.  See you there!

Good Friday Service

Join us for our Good Friday focus on what Jesus went through in the lead-up to Easter. We’ll be sharing the Lord’s Supper (communion) as a way to focus on the personal costs to Jesus and his act of love for us. 6:00 pm in the fireside room.

Women’s Spring Event

Women’s Spring Event: The Women’s Ministry Team is hosting a dinner Friday, April 10 at the Broadway Commons Room #306 (Peru Room) 6-8pm. This year’s theme will be “Spring Cleaning Our Homes & Our Hearts”. The evening will be filled with delicious food, fellowship, and entertainment. The cost will be $12 per person, and there is a signup table in the foyer. We hope you can join us for this fun event!
