Young Adults Pizza Games & Discussion

Young Adults (18-30) are invited to enjoy pizza, salad, games, and a discussion at Pastor Nate & Kelsey’s house!  For directions email nathan@kingwoodbible.net. 

Men’s Breakfast

Starting at 9:00 AM
Join other men in gymnasium for a hearty meal, good conversation, a short devotional, and prayer!  

LOFT Snow Day

The youth group (grades 6-12) will head to the snow for a great time tubing!  Lunch is provided by the church.  Those who come are responsible to purchase dinner at The Yard (food carts in Salem) on the way home.  Suggested $10.  Meet at Kingwood at 8:30am and return by 6:30pm. 

Women’s Brunch & Games

Ladies of all ages are invited to enjoy a brunch as well as fun in games following the worship gathering on Sunday, March 14th at 11:30 AM in the Gymnasium.

Christmas Program

Enjoy a special night of Christmas carols, Scripture reading, poetry, and the story of Jesus’ birth told by children!  A Christmas bag will be given out following the program. 

Church on the Farm

Join Kingwood outdoors at the Dalke’s farm (3487 Orchard Heights Road NW). Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket for you and those with you. We will gather at 10:00 AM and enjoy worship and a message from God’s Word. Do to the potential of not having a strong Internet connection, the service will be recorded and posted later for those who are not able to attend.

Virtual Christmas Eve Service

A Christmas Eve service can be accessed on our website on December 24th.  Video will be pre-recorded and uploaded. At a time that is convenient for you, consider watching this short video with friends or family and enjoy the truth we celebrate at Christmas!   

Church Family Fun Day

As long as restrictions allow us, a fun day for all ages is in the making for Sunday, August 23 following the Sunday morning gathering. Keep this date in mind and as we get closer consider inviting others! Right now we are planning for Pizza, soda, outdoor games, and fun activities for children.

Ralph Schwartz’s Celebration of Life

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time for Ralph Schwartz.  You can watch the service on this page in the FB video box above.

In-person attendance is allowed in the sanctuary with overflow seating in the gym with a live video. In-person attendance, is permitted with social distance (6 feet between family units) and masks worn for people age 5 and older. A livestream is planned to be available on Facebook and on this page.  YouTube was planned but is no longer an option due to issues experience this past Sunday.  This page will be updated additional information..

Pastor Ralph Roy Schwartz
was born on December 14, 1937 in Hatfield, PA and went to be with his heavenly Father on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 5:05 AM in Salem, OR. 

Ralph was raised in Hatfield, PA and studied at Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC) where he met and married Martha (Long Beach, CA). Having set their hearts on sharing the love of Jesus with the nations, further studies took them to Biola University (Los Angeles, CA), and Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake, IN). Ralph and Martha served in gospel ministry in Belem, Brazil (1964-1977 – Encompass World Partners), in Santa Maria, CA (1980-1991 – Grace Brethren Church), in Porto, Portugal (1991-2003 – Encompass World Partners) and in their retirement in Salem, OR (2003-2020 – Kingwood Bible Church & Capital Manor).

Church at the Lake

This Sunday we are at the Chapin Lake. Church starts at 10 am and we will have communion and baptisms.  After baptisms, you are invited to stay for lunch, volleyball and water activity!. 

Things to Note:

• Please maintian social distancing between family units and masks/face shields should be worn unless age 5 and younger or a medical condition prevents you from doing so.
• Bring your own camp chair for our worship gathering. 
• Modest swimwear required (ladies: no midriff; guys: if not in the water, please wear a shirt). 
• Lifejackets required (bring one if you have one; if not, a life jacket can be provided). 
• If swimming, bring a towel and water toys if desired.

Directions:
The lake access is between these two addresses on Wheatland Rd.  The gravel driveway across from Waconda is where you enter.
