Christmas Program

Christmas Eve

Celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 24th with Kingwood Bible Church.

A delicious breakfast will be served at 9 AM followed by a worship service at 10 AM. Enjoy a special Christmas Eve service in the evening at 7 PM as we light the final advent candle, sing and listen to Christmas carols, and hear from God’s Word.

December 31st

Come join us for the last day of 2017.  Service is at 9:30 AM.  After church we will have an Appreciation Celebration for Peter and Katy.  Peter has been on staff as our Associate Pastor for Youth Ministry and Katy has volunteered leading our Children’s Ministry.  A Soup and Bread lunch will be ready for the congregation to enjoy.  There will be no Sunday School this Sunday

Easter Celebration

Join us for our celebration Jesus resurrection. We start at 9:30 am, our usual start time, in the gym for Easter breakfast. in addition to breakfast, the kids will decorate the cross with flowers and we’ll proceed to the church auditorium for worship at 10:45 to 12:00 noon. Bring flowers from your garden for the kids to use for the cross. Invite a friend and join us.  This is a day of joyous celebration.

Vacation Bible School (2016 VBS)

Kids 4 years old to 5th Grade are invited to our annual Vacation Bible School.   This fun program is open to any family in the community.

This year’s theme is “Submerged”.  At “Submerged VBS”, kids embark on the coolest adventure of the summer! Filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences, fun craft activities, team-building games, cool songs, and tasty treats. We’ll help kids discover how to see
evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings.

There will be a closing program for parents to attend at 8 PM on Thursday night the 30th.

Good Friday Communion

Join us at 6:30 PM in the Fireside Room for a Good Friday Service and time of communion as we remember the death of our Lord Jesus.  Don’t forget to join us on Sunday to celebrate his resurrection.

Pancake Breakfast and Classic Car Show – Family Fun

Come to our 6th Annual Marv Lowen Memorial Car Show and enjoy a free breakfast of pancakes and other breakfast food. There will be a free play area for kids. There is no entry fee for the car show, but to register a car, call Jim at 503-931-5160. This a fun event for the whole family. We hope to see you there.

Trunk or Treat

Do you love seeing kids’ faces light up when they get free candy? Have you ever wanted an excuse to cover your car in seasonal decorations? Do you want to hand out cups of steaming hot cocoa to the dedicated parents of neighborhood trick-or-treaters?

If you said yes to any of these, then come on out to the Kingwood parking lot on October 31st from 6:00pm-7:30 for our Trunk-or-Treat event! Providing a safe and fun time for the kids and families of our community, it’ll be a blast for everyone involved!

Girls’ Night Out–Movie Night

FROM THE WOMENS MINISTRIES TEAM: Ladies ~ It’s Showtime! Come enjoy Girls Night Out ~ at the KBC Fireside Room ~ featuring “Belle” inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle, the mixed race daughter of a British Royal Navy Admiral in the 1700’s.  Showtime: Friday January 23 @ 6:00.  Feel free to bring something comfy to sit on and bring a friend to share in the fun with pizza, popcorn, drinks and chocolate!  Pajamas & sleeping bags are always welcome and donations for food will be accepted at the door.  See you there!
