Summer Book Club // July 23
July 23, 2023Join us in reading the honest, inspiring, and gritty auto-biography of missionary and POW Darlene Deibler Rose. Evidence Not Seen is the story of refinement by fire. When the Japanese invade their missionary headquarters in Indonesia, Darlene and her husband are separated and confined to labor camps. Amidst the ashes of loss, her faith is left to hang on “evidence not seen.”
You are sure to be intrigued and challenged by this incredible story!
We will read through the book on our own and then come together for a discussion on Sunday, July 23rd. You can pick up a copy of the book online online (Abe Books; Thrift Books; Christian Books) or purchase a copy at Kingwood for $10.00.
